Get Bang For Your Buck At MS Museum of Natural Science

Are you and your family fans of all things involving Mississippi wildlife, outdoors and environment?    The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science is constantly rotating gold mine of exhibits to find your curiosity about the world around us.     My family and I discovered the Museum a few years ago.   My boys have enjoyed exhibits such as a robot zoo, bats, alligators, Walter Anderson's artwork, bones and dinosaurs.     It is hands on learning at its best!

For $60 you can purchase a family membership which entitles you to unlimited access to not only the Natural Science Museum, but also to the Russell C. Davis Planetarium.    This is because of the ASTC Passport Program.    What does this mean?    When you are traveling, you can use your Natural Science membership card for FREE access to other museums!

For example:

In Memphis?    Visit The Children's Museum or The Pink Palace
In Birmingham?   Visit The McWane Science Center or  the Southern Museum of Flight

Some of the great exhibits currently featured at the MS Museum of Natural Science are:
Fish Feedings
Come meet some of our most fascinating aquarium inhabitants. Every Tuesday and Friday at 10am, and Sunday at 2 pm watch divers feed the fish!
Creature Features
These informal programs —scheduled or spontaneous— feature live or mounted animals. Scheduled every Saturday at 10am and 2pm, Creature Features make learning fun!
