Free Trees

In honor of Arbor Day, Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District will be giving away FREE trees!

You can pick them up:

Wednesday from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. at the Train Depot in Flora
Thursday at the same time on Canton's Courthouse Square
Friday from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. at Ridgeland City Hall
Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon at the old Madison Station Elementary

The free bundles offered by MCSWCD include Live Oaks, Sawtooth Oaks and Bald Cypresses. Flowering bundles containing Dogwoods, Southern Magnolias and Persimmons will be available for $5. Bundles come with six seedlings, and some trees may be substituted for others due to shortages.

Each person is allowed one free bundle.
