While we appreciate your enthusiasm, please know that market rules prohibit vendors from selling before 8:00 a.m. Feel free to catch a few extra minutes of sleep on your weekend morning!
1. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving 2 teaspoons drippings in pan; coarsely chop bacon.
2. Increase the heat to medium-high. Melt butter in drippings in pan. Add onion; sauté 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add corn kernels; sauté for 3 minutes or until lightly charred. Add edamame, and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in vinegar and next 5 ingredients (through bell pepper); cook 30 seconds, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with bacon and basil.

If you're willing to sign up for a Saturday shift, please e-mail email@example.com. Volunteers typically sell soft drinks (funds support market advertising), answer customer questions, and assist vendors -- when needed -- to set up booths. As the summer wears on, we'll need more help. Please don't just shop the market. Volunteer to work on a market Saturday if you'd like to see this great summer event continue to grow!
